What is your definition of "the left"? Because I can't think of one that makes your statement work factually.

I could argue with some of those a lot, but that's not the point. Either you consider the establishment left/center-left or the far left.

If establishment, they were major cold warriors. If far left, many participated in Russian propaganda in 2016 and are unrepentant about it.

So I don't see which "left" is more anti-Russian today than during the Cold War - even though it would make complete sense (for true left).

There's a whole chunk of Hilary supporters who would have been involved in the anti-war movement in the 1980s, which almost exclusively...

Hmm. I've lived in the US since 1989 and parts of my family have been here since the 1950s, and I literally don't know any1 who was pro-USSR
