The new atheists bloggers, & their audiences, prominent a few years ago behaved in awful ways, but it had nothing to do with Dawkins et al.
What's interesting is it's largely the same people now constructing these highly partial, often defamatory, attacks on Dawkins & Harris.

The problem isn't atheism, it's zealotry, crowd behavior, group think, and the seductiveness of "othering" & in-group moral righteousness.

I despair at how often charges against Harris and Dawkins are revealed to be the fruit of deliberate misreadings, projections, or worse.
