Very impressed with ability of a French waitress to communicate her disdain for my culinary choices just in the way she's pouring my drink.
So what if it's a Michelin starred restaurant, why shouldn't I have a fromage sandwich and Coke?

Ah, I think I've been ordering from the children's menu (does "enfance" mean children?). That would explain disdain & surreal atmosphere...
