Man City - there was an Esso promotion for the 1970 word cup. Football pennies. The first I got was Francis Lee, so decided to support City.
I remember those. You could have had Colin Bell for City as well. I supported Leeds because Johnny Giles was Irish and with Leeds.
That early 70s Leeds side was very, very good. I remember watching them torment some side by just passing endlessly.
Southampton 7-0. Don Revie was friends with Southampton's manager, and told Leeds to stop scoring after 7 - hence the endless passing 
- Don Revie was an interesting character. Not sure everything was always entirely above board back then!
