The fact "white feminism" is being blamed in some SJ circles for Trump is indicative of the toxic absurdity of the new identity politics.
2nd wave feminism has its problems, but at least its more or less intellectually coherent, unlike the neoliberal, intersectional variant.

I'd call it 3rd wave feminism. 1st was Woolstencraft, et al. 2nd was de Beauvoir etc. 3rd is Kristeva, Irigaray, etc...
