Can't remember, and it's driving me crazy! Oh yes, and the books were aimed at probably 10-13 year olds.

I should say these are books - not television - maybe 5 or 6 of them in total.

If I'm not confabulating, author made a thing over fact suspended animation meant it would seem to protagonists travel was instantaneous.
