I admire those who can debate with theologians, but I wonder what the point is when it seems theology irrelevant to majority of believers
@sjzara Because it pertains to the issue of whether religious belief - and all that flows from it - can be rationally justified.

@PhilosophyExp Sure, but debate's a pretty odd way to research rational justification anyway, at least I think so. -
@sjzara Ah right. I take "debate" to mean the sort of thing that happens in journals, books, etc., as well as face to face! :) -
@PhilosophyExp No - I find e-mail or blog-based debates to be useful to follow. It's the face-to-face debates that I find pointless. -
@sjzara Except Russell vs. Coppleston, I think I've never listened/watched one of those sorts of debates. :)
