@SIN_Notung least, it's a moral issue that has to be weighed up. It's not a fallacy to think origins can have political/moral significance.
@JakCharlton @SIN_Notung Basically, you have to worry about with whom you're getting into bed. it's politically and morally relevant.

@PhilosophyExp@JakCharlton Granted there, but I'm less convinced with hashtags: Harder to trace origins, less affiliative, and open to all. -
@SIN_Notung@JakCharlton Hmmm. Can't say I've been too keen on the way Suey Park has had her profile raised. -
@PhilosophyExp@JakCharlton Me neither, but it wasn't a situation (AFAIK) where rational voices unwittingly agreed with her. -
@PhilosophyExp@JakCharlton What I mean is - all those who actually wanted to "cancel Colbert" were nutters, not just Park. -
@SIN_Notung@JakCharlton Right, but origins were clear, and outcome in terms of Park's profile were predictable, therefore... -
@PhilosophyExp@JakCharlton ...so it could happen I guess. Ok - well we should judge each case on its merits then! :p -
@SIN_Notung@JakCharlton Exactly! :)
