The phrase "we would have aborted you" doesn't really work for me, because what would be aborted isn't a "you".

@PhilosophyExp@sjzara If the foetus is aborted, there is no baby. So, you can't talk about 'the baby that became you'.
@Hughmanist @sjzara I don't think that's right. "The baby that became you should not have been born" seems perfectly okay.
