@sjzara I think politics is way too complex to be reduced to simple divisions between opposing forces.

@PhilosophyExp I would say that healthy politics has to involve opposing parties expressing opinions based on reality,and that's not USA now

@sjzara example, I think talk of "natural rights" is nonsense on stilts. But I certainly wouldn't be saying that too loudly if I were govt.

@PhilosophyExp That's utterly negligible compared to the views expressed by US Republicans (for example).

@sjzara I don't think that's true at all. I think talk of human rights, etc., is extremely important (but largely nonsense).
