Sometimes Twitter feels like when the wierdo harangues you on the bus. Do you respond or stare resolutely ahead pretending not to hear?

@PhilosophyExp it's a good policy - I generally feel much happier when I walk away from fruitless arguments & do something positive instead.
@SteveCooke Right. Much more fruitful to engage with good faith, thoughtful, knowledgeable interlocutors. Then one can learn things.
