@PhilosophyExp Soviet MPs in east germany just after the wall fell weren't much of a laugh either.
@scearley Right. Interesting. I kind of assumed in Hungary it was just a hangover from communist days (same people, practices, etc).

@PhilosophyExp still got better treatment as a foreigner (with or without visa) from any police in Europe than any police in my home state. -
@scearley I think the problem I had was that the police were working on the assumption my brother had been killed because he was involved
