@PhilosophyExp He also says "the experimental study of evolution AND descent" as if 2 separate things (p249, right col.bottom) Sounds funny. -
@AdrianaHeguy The language is confusing. Galton talks about "race improvement" - he means human race... (I think!). :) -
@PhilosophyExp "human race" is kind of old-fashioned. We would now say "humankind" or "the human species". "race" is archaic for "species"
