@Dianora_1 Unfortunately, not always going to be possible. And some people will likely carry on drinking koolaid with them until they choke.

@PhilosophyExp Sadly. But is it moral not to try, but claim Darwin weeds out the gullible in society? That seems callous to me.

@Dianora_1 Yes, one has to try, and individuals & (particularly) organisations that facilitate the messianic-types are culpable.

@Dianora_1 Well, exactly. And somebody can start off as a hero & end up as a broken ex-Messiah. This is just a genuinely difficult issue.
