@NotungSchwert I know! If the trombone is anything like the trumpet, then it probably starts at Grade 5! ;) -
@PhilosophyExp Indeed - I think non-musicians are already Grade 4 standard on trombone/trumpet before they even pick up the instrument... -
@NotungSchwert Ha! I failed Grade 3 trumpet. Aged 8, paralysed by nerves. I don't have the temperament to be a musician. Or talent. -
@PhilosophyExp That's better than me - I was taking Grade 2 at that time - I think I scraped a pass with something like 106. Also terrified! -
@NotungSchwert I once taught myself to play Bach's C# minor fugue by memory (on piano). But if anybody was listening - even my father - 1/2
