@PhilosophyExp Some of us didn't even start! We have a word here - 'Haaties'. A sort of empathy/sympathy thing. Haaties
Ah well, at least I made the start this time. Need to get injury better, then I've got Boston next year. But just for fun, no racing.

@SoliPhilander Thanks! I shouldn't have started, but I've already pulled out of 2 marathons this year. 3 would have been... well, absurd. :) -
@PhilosophyExp I've never run a marathon. Always loved the idea that I probably could -
@SoliPhilander Go for it! 16 week training program would get you around. Definitely worth experiencing just once, especially last 10km. :) -
@PhilosophyExp Ah...No. I live vicariously through those who do. Cheerleading is my forte -
@SoliPhilander :) Right now, vicarious marathon running, rather than actual, you know, movement, sounds quite an attractive proposition. -
@PhilosophyExp I can highly recommend it! :-)

@PhilosophyExp Best of luck with the injury and recovery -
@Gurdur Thanks! It's self-inflicted, so very much a "first-world problem". Serious running is very self-indulgent, it must be said. -
@PhilosophyExp *shrug* Injury is injury, and best of luck with recovery. It wasn't mere indulgence after all. -
@Gurdur Thanks! Appreciated. :)

@PhilosophyExp Damned mortal flesh! 25 km still awesome. -
@JeanKazez Thx! If it were easy, there'd be no point in doing it. (It's possible there's no point anyway, but we'll gloss over that...). :)
