@PaulaSKirby Indeed. There's a whole "narrative of self" thing in play here (as there is with many people's "interest" in philosophy).

@PaulaSKirby I think the phrase "narrative of self" was coined by Anthony Giddens. I tend to use it a bit, but I don't think it's common.
