@PhilosophyExp @TheMadSkeptic I like the piece, but not the use of "Skeptic". The people noted in the piece conflate skepticism w/atheism.
Excellent piece from @TheMadSkeptic on online #skepticism, #FTBullies and abusive behavior. http://bit.ly/NsiVya

@badrescher@TheMadSkeptic In my book, many of the FtB bloggers aren't any sort of skeptics (albeit many of them are atheists). -
@PhilosophyExp@TheMadSkeptic Exactly my thoughts. Are you sure you're not psychic? I know where we could make some cash w/this. ;) -
@badrescher@TheMadSkeptic Ha. I did once have a very odd "psychic" experience (not that I believe in such things, but it was very odd). -
@PhilosophyExp@TheMadSkeptic Had a few myself.#theoddsmustbecrazy -
@badrescher@TheMadSkeptic I'm not convinced by the probability argument. I think it fails to account for the *nature* of the experience. -
@PhilosophyExp@TheMadSkeptic Oh, I think I'm pretty good about discussing that, too. I hope so, anyway. -
@badrescher@TheMadSkeptic Cool. If we ever meet in the real world, I'll tell you about it. Too involved for twitter! - 2 more replies

@PhilosophyExp@TheMadSkeptic Also, "real" skeptics have been speaking out & this year's TAM showed we'll be more loud in the future. -
@badrescher@PhilosophyExp the example I cited in my post is the result of the criticism of a "real" skeptic speaking out. -
@TheMadSkeptic@PhilosophyExp I think some are dead-on w/the characterization of the bullies as trolls. We need to start ignoring them.
