      It's made even more distressing by the fact that what it appears to say nothing more that that humans are distinct from other species because they are self-conscious & have second-order desires. Being beings being beings makes being beings being.

      Yeah, being for humans involves being aware of our being. He's just trying to break the world record for the number of uses of the word "being" in a sentence.
