Some people justify their hatred of Muslims by telling themselves that Islam seeks to oppress women & gays. Campaigns for women's & gay liberation might feed into this narrative. This would not make feminists and/or Peter Tatchell responsible for any uptick in violence.
I ought to say that it is of course wildly implausible that there is a causal link between the rise of gender critical feminist ideas & violence against trans women. My point is that even if there were it wouldn't mean that gender critical feminists have to shut up.
