Hang on a minute. If you're saying that trans identity is rooted in brain differences, a point which most TRAs will never accept (because what happens if a person who identifies as trans doesn't have a "trans brain"?), then that's a biological argument.https://twitter.com/PeterTatchell/status/1163776459988754432 …

I speak out against transphobia. Gender is more than genitals. New science suggests that trans identity is rooted in different brain structures. As feminists USED to say: Biology is NOT destiny. Now some say it IS destiny. LISTEN 1 hr 3 min http://ow.ly/lt4S50vBsqk  @MunroeBergdorf pic.twitter.com/cRrMjv2FvI

And if you accept that biology is important for membership of a class of people, why doesn't it count when it comes to the difference between males and females?

Also, structural brain differences can be acquired (famously, the enlarged hippocampus in London taxi drivers). More broadly, neural correlates of subjective experience say nothing of how ‘real’ that experience is: all subjective experiences have neural correlates.

Illogical anyway, unless he believes the brain is outside biology. Which he doesn't.

It also doesn't account for the many people who detransition and change their mind, or the children that the Tavistock Clinic senior staff were walking out over because they felt they were being fast tracked into trans identity when they had other issues - including autisim.

Seems most people in this "discussion" don't know whether they're on foot or horse-back. Largely b/c they refuse to define their terms at the outset - foundational Too many losing sight of the diff tween the processes leading to an attribute, & the category on which it's basedpic.twitter.com/c5KGPlzhaR
