I dunno. I think it's more about pudgy losers who haven't quite grown up enough to lose their LARPy fantasies of being left-wing fightin' revolutionaries. They're kind of the political version of embittered incels.
Back in the day, I used to hang out with lefty types in the UK (SWP, Rock against Racism, ANL, etc), and I'm sure many of us were pudgy losers, but I don't remember the equivalent. I do remember thinking Ian Bone's Class War lot were hilariously absurd. But you could be right.

Bone was part of a group of transactions who called the police on some gender critical women because they were scared of them. Class War was always anarchist cosplay. Same with Antifa.
Class War and Antifa wouldn't have enjoyed living in the only successful anarchist society (parts of pre-Civil War Spain) as they'd have had to work for a living.
