My trouble with the Mail (or the Times, or the Speccie, or Quillette) isn't loyalty-oath stuff but credibility. Most of my socialist confreres will try and dismiss anything GC anyway, and RTing anything from Right sources gives them an instant excuse.
Your socialist mates will just find another reason to dismiss the GC points if the argumentum ad wrong publication isn't available to them.
You're not wrong, but there's more of a chance they'll read at least some of it and plant doubts despite themselves.
Perhaps, in this instance, the answer is not to convince your confreres, but to defeat them before the wider, unaligned, public. If a minority of less tribal comrades acknowledge the truth, so much the better, but 'the tribe' is not the main audience.
They use "it's the Mail" to protect themselves. Have seen many of them say "surprisingly the best article I found on that was (insert shameful publication name)" it's how they assure each other they belong. Curently only Mail is writing on Epstein.
