On the internet/social media? Yes. But I'm not fussed. I don't have online friends (or other kinds of friends), not a part of online communities, I don't depend on social media or reputation to earn money... so there isn't really anything at stake. Not true for other people.

My objections to crowd behavior/mobbing, etc., are longstanding. The major part of my PhD, written in the late-1980s, is about in-groups/out-groups, the psychology of crowd behavior, all that kind of stuff.
