The terrible zenith of male patriarchal dominance is the rape of women by men in war. It's existed for the entirety of known history. Men are also raped in war, but the perpetrators are overwhelmingly male (a puzzling fact if you suppose biological sex is a modern invention).

Yeah, it is confusing if you're not following this stuff. There's a fairly well-known sociologist who seems to be suggesting that biological sex isn't real, or if it is real then it's only real because it's a social construction. It's not exactly clear what he thinks, really!
