Sure, there's obviously something to that. But it tends to distract attention away from the darker aspects of human nature - our tendency to viciousness, etc.

I like the point Slavoj Zizek made in his debate with Jordan Peterson about socialism: One can use almost any ideology to justify terror. Peterson also made a good point that there will always be social inequality in a large scale society. Capitalism also requires collaboration.
