Even if your interpretation is right, I find it sad and understandable that Andy would make that choice. Politics is about choosing your battles. You can't just fight for everything you believe in. I tried that and it became too controversial, it's impractical.

For goodness sake. He could have really stood up for “free speech” and not grovelled to a bunch of selfish bullies... but, no, he had to grovel, further fanning the hyperbole and making civil discussion seem controversial.... it was obviously a waste of time him being there.
