Okay, so I don't follow UK politics all that carefully. But if May's Brexit thing fails, it means a political realignment doesn't it? Tories implode. Labour lose voters to a new Brexit party, and also voters to a party committed to remaining.
The Tories have to get Brexit done, surely? Aren't they finished if they don't? (I'm not really following this closely enough to have a proper sense of it.)

Yes, probably. But they, and more importantly Parliament, can't agree on which Brexit to do. This doesn't look like it will change with an election. Possibly a new Tory leader finds a way to command a majority in the HoC over Brexit...but it's not obvious how.
