They already have, though. That's the point. They've already picked out who they want to annihilate, and they're already taking action to do so. We didn't start this fight, but I'll be damned if I'm going to pretend it isn't happening.

The Left hates the Right for supporting policies that harm vulnerable populations. The Right hates vulnerable populations for... existing. You can frame it however you like, but there's simply no moral equivalence there.

It's not about moral equivalence, for god's sake. It's about whether the other side *thinks* they are righteous. It's no good telling me that fascists are bad. I already know this. It's about the certainty that they will see it otherwise, and be just as convinced.
