At first I couldn't figure out how Early Middle Europe had only been Early Middle Europe for 28 years. What was it before that!? 
I'm having a bit of difficulty getting my head around this, but I think what you're saying is that if I use the hashtag #MedievalTwitter, and then use #EME rather than #MakingEME, people might get upset?
