In the US people are kids up to 21?

Whoa, that’s really draconian,inappropriate,& creepy on the part of the admin lady who emailed parents. That’s a public school/state school (vs. a private one). I’ve taught at that kind of school & as faculty, we legally couldn’t communicate w/parents at all. What a bizarre story
