I assume this stuff is intended as rhetoric and that these people don't really approve of extra-judicial corporal and capital punishment, but as I said about another comment posted earlier today, it's way beyond acceptable bounds.

I think the rhetoric can easily escalate into violence (especially if people are acting in groups). That's the thing. Rather than quickly disavowing, as most activists would, there's usually total crickets or even implied support from their mainstream/high-profile people. That shapes the mvmt. I've seen RM pretend to be disapproving when pressed, but we see how deep that runs.
