I'd never claim the label "feminist" for myself (I'd need a beard for that), but 2nd wave radical feminism has a rich intellectual history, and in academic terms its major claims are perfectly respectable. It should be treated as such, and not as a signal of bigotry.

Plus, the way that large chunks of the academic world - I'm looking at you philosophers - has responded to these issues has been so risible, sheer irritation compels me to sympathize to the gender critical view!

This is how I became a gender critical feminist...had to see for myself what the "evil terfs" were on about. Lo and behold...they were just talking sense.

Before I looked deeper into things, I was a trans supporter because I thought it was the same as transsexual. It's really not though.

Thanks for the support! I wish we lived in a time where having the better argument (complete with evidence, statistics, science, and rationale) would deliver quick results. But the masses don't like thinking very much. We will be heard, in time.
