Literally and out of context, you are right. In context, though: 1) Has any doctor made such a statement regarding a past US President? 2) This is a statement about a 72-year-old man’s health over the next 6+ years. Would you still maintain that such anticipation is reasonable?
So let's throw this back at you. If this statement had been made about Obama, do you really think anybody would have even blinked? Is it not the case that people's (understandable) loathing of Trump skews their reaction to this sort of thing? (It is the case.)
Yes, the media would’ve ridiculed the doctor incessantly and Fox News would’ve openly claimed conspiracy. Do you not remember the Obama years? It was a scandal when he said he liked grey poupon mustard!
