I would love to see this world stop throwing everything into anxiety or depression issues when an injury or defect or malfunction is occurring. I get the reaction, but please get to the root cause and treatment #hyperacusis #tinnitus #pt #etd #acoustictrauma #researchneeded

How often do have an attack, Louise, if you don't mind my asking? I mean a full blown back to bed one?

Same thing, almost all of my adult life. Every few month. Woozy now from a bad attack a couple of days ago. Mine is instant onset, and normally instant off as well (though left unsteady for a few days afterwards). Dx was BPPV. But it's not. I reckon some kind of migraine.

I have been told it's vestibular migraine but without the headache. The room jerks the way a needle does stuck on a record, my balance goes as well and I have been spotted clinging to lampposts outside. Then there is the "deafening" noise which actually leaves me deaf for days.

That describes it exactly. I don't have the noise thing, just a very mild headache right at the top of my head that I don't tend to get on other occasions. It is very very annoying!
