My word! I have been reminded several times today of Elizabeth Anderson’s excellent paper on lay understandings of scientific testimony (as I read about climate change denial & homeopathy) & her apt discussion on identifying unreliable & dishonest testimony.
I read a load of other stuff too, that was also...odd. There are some strange folks in academia.
