Male allies, there's lots of people on my thread about the UN asking questions/somewhat unhappy b/c I claimed that feminism is a woman's movement, and that men are allies. If any of you would be interested in expanding on your thoughts on that I'd be v glad for your perspectives.
God, these people should take a look at the Spare Rib archive, or the output of the Leeds Revolutionary Feminist group or The Furies in the States. They have no bloody clue as to the radicalism of 2nd wave feminism.
Looking at the archives means you're too young. Everything grows out of the conditions it finds itself in. Some women were righteously angry, furious because being nice didn't get us anywhere. Research and lived experience revealed horror after horror.
