If that's the case, then hypothetically there are people incapable of doing a relationship "the right way." What would you say to them?
I'm absolutely certain there are many, many people incapable of doing relationships the right way. Bertrand Russell springs to mind, for example. Not sure why I need to say anything to them, though! 
And I'm not sure why you felt a need to "well, actually" Dr. Langer, ya weasel. If you're going to condemn these people, you ought to practice doing it to their faces.
