God, if you think that tweet is spiteful, I can hardly imagine what you make of some of the reaction to Bre Payton's death!

I think her death was tragic to be taken at a young age. What was even more heinous is the political statement most conservatives tried to make out of it. Shameful.

You think a political reaction is more regrettable (or heinous) than her death? Really? If you could undo one of those two things, you'd undo the politicking? That's not a moral position to which I could subscribe.

Since her death came before the reaction I would take back her death, thus no reaction. Are you really this naive?

It's a thought experiment. If you could undo her death, or you could undo an equivalent amount of politicking (associated with a different death, if you like), and you chose to undo the politicking, then I suggest to you that you need to revisit your moral worldview.

Is this your “deep” thinking experiment for the day? Yes of course I would want her death not to happen. Conservative whining goes on endlessly anyhow and they would just move onto something else.
