Okay, so about this stupid consent must be enthusiastic suggestion. Here's a partial list of things that might make this problematic (but which do not rule out people consenting to a sexual encounter):

Enthusiasm as a standard rules out encounters where consent comes from pressure, eg your boss demands sex (and maybe they'll fire you if you refuse). What do you think of this?
It's not required. There is already the principle that you shouldn't pressure somebody to have sex with you...

So it's basically redundant then. But what if one person feels greatly pressured and the other one is blissfully unaware of that?

For ethical sexual practices there is the requirement for a certain amount of vigilance with regards to your partner's feelings, desires (or lack thereof), etc. If your ignorance is because you're not paying sufficient regard, then you're not acting ethically.
