Basically, anybody with self-esteem issues is in trouble if they need to ask to be supported personally. Because you don't feel worthy of it, so you can't set up Patreon accounts or Kickstarters or anything like that. Probably also a British thing, mind you!
ah, sorry, just read your second tweet! right, so I'm currently working toward making my Patreon page a group effort. spreads the pain for individual contributors, multiplies the value for subscribers...

Jeremy, not sure what you are referring to, but of course Patreon is not the only way to do it. if you are talking about being uncomfortable asking to be paid for your work, yeah, I know, we all need to get over that, however
