Whig historiography really is rampant on Twitter. Look, you don't know how history is going to judge things. And anyway, history isn't some sort of magical source of perfect enlightenment, which makes all of its judgments necessarily veridical. Stop it with the hubris!
Probably history will come to the correct conclusion that it was only idiots who spent their time pontificating on social media about how history would come to view things.
