Does J. Peterson really claim Marx was a postmodernist? If so... well, oh dear. You can define words in any peculiar way you please, but if it ends up ideas labeled "postmodernist" radically contradict each other can I have new words to mark the difference please?
I mean Lyotard's "The Postmodern Condition" was explicitly directed against grand narratives such as Marxism: "Simplifying to the extreme, I define postmodern as incredulity towards metanarratives". If it turns out Marxism is in fact postmodernist, then... well, I'm lost.
When lobsterdaddy says "marxism" he means "cultural marxism" and by "cultural marxism" he means "things he doesn't like"
Ah! I've almost literally never read or heard anything of Peterson's, so I'm relying on secondhand reports that I don't read very carefully! 
probably for the best. He says things like "the individual is the ultimate minority." Although, it's actually a good reminder to curb one of my own worst habits of assuming I know what something means because I understand the words in the name.
