People saying"don't feed the trolls" is a terrible idea, & has been proved not to work. Since when, ever, in the history of the internet, has it been even remotely attempted? Did I miss some phase of the internet where people didn't complain bitterly about trolls, abusers, etc?
Note: Not saying complaints aren't justified; not saying that don't feed the trolls is a good idea. But seriously, people on the internet have been feeding trolls, attention-seekers, etc., exactly what they want for bloody years.
