Huh? I was saying I don't think it will help to reduce racism if we stop seeing it as a character flaw to be ashamed of and make it inherent to being white. Nothing about anybody getting over anything or feeling personally attacked.

Well, yes. Saying white people are all racist whether they're racist, non-racist or anti-racist is counterproductive psychologically. If you want people to do something, there needs to be a way for them to do it. 'You're racist no matter what you do' makes doing anything hopeless
This is especially the case if you're making use of notions such as implicit bias while simultaneously defining racism in such a way that overt prejudice & bigotry on the part of a person of color doesn't count as racism.

You’re right; all that bigotry and prejudice on the part of people of color certainly has created massive problems in intergenerational wealth transfer (etc., etc.) for white people.
