One of those tweets was quite distasteful and rather gaslighting I thought ; re battered women going to refuges and being ‘triggered by people they view as male bodied’. Almost as if the over sensitivity of the women would be to blame. Not as progressive as her obvs.
I once inadvertently triggered a woman in a shelter. I got chased by an out of control dog while I was running. It was going for me so I headed to the nearest building I could find. I didn't know it was a shelter. I still remember the look of terror, and it really was terror. :(
