If they want to hang their hat on “transparency,” they should be able to say “we have X in reserve, Y supposed to be delivered by Z date, but no guarantees due to manufacturing slowdowns and uncertainty re J&J approval.” If you’re being transparent, why is that hard to say?

I think they honestly don't know how much is in reserve or already shipped because all the information has been kept from them during transition.

I'm listening to the briefing and that's not exactly what she said. She said they couldn't give an answer because they are still trying to sort out how much they have etc. that's different than refusing to answer

I panicked when I heard about them buying a small amount of Pfizer but was hopeful when I learned of Moderna vaccines coming through. Did the administration not buy enough of that either? Or did they and they sold it to other countries?

Trump admin purchased the minimum offered. So, there definitely isn’t enough to go around, and should have made much larger orders. This was covered in December, I believe.
