So much to chew over in Trump’s Rose Garden speech, but I’m stuck on this: He claimed previous presidents have told him they wish they’d built a border wall. Really? Obama? Bush 43? Clinton? Bush 41? Carter? None has signaled in any way that he is pro-wall.

This one stuck in my throat, too. I couldn't think of one President who would want a wall, especially since Reagan took down Berlin; walls have such a negative connotation. They scream of privilege, elite-ism, racism, and class-ism. No wall!pic.twitter.com/JOmW75HOn2

bush, Obama, Clinton, have all worked to approve and biuild walls. The NEW San Diego Wall was built during Obama Years. Very nive high tech fence/wall system. a series of 30ft tall 8inch posts. Almost impossible to climb over.

Here's the story from what he's said today: He plans to keep it shut down for months or years. AND right there, that statement confirms what I've said that this is a turn to dictatorship in broad daylight. He should be being REMOVED as we speak. I don't mean impeached but REMOVED

And to claim that the workers who don’t know where their next check is coming from or when are glad to stand with him on this was nauseating. Reporters need to laugh at him more. I would have said, “oh really, let’s go ask them.” Horrible President. Horrible man. #Impeach45

Another thing were his weird comments about navigation; "They get off the road, and they drive out into the desert and they come in, they make a left turn - usually it's a left, not a right." What the hell was that? He even went back to it later.pic.twitter.com/c6QgNtAR2G

I think the point he was “making” was that They are Democrats after landing and so should die in the desert. Or their kids will vote. Or “fraud” vote. You know - stupid.

I guess anything's possible, but I don't believe Trump's intelligent enough to be that analytical.

exactly. The former presidents had structures built and/or reinforced where they made sense and where hundreds of thousands of Americans wouldn't be forced to surrender their homes by eminent domain in order to build unnecessary additions 🙄
