  4. This was probably one of the saddest songs I wrote in my youth. I never actually performed or recorded it, which is probably just as well, as the level of pathos is difficult to bear.

  7. Have just submitted a new article on the historical development of astrological concepts called 'Lilith' to for Infinity Astrological Magazine. It seeks to clarify how we've ended up with three different Liliths and who was responsible for each of them and when.

  8. Our got a little more regional publicity in the south-west of England yesterday thanks to this article, which was based on though a little paraphrased and simplified from my answers to a string of emailed questions earlier this year.

  9. New arrivals to our 4 of 4: the German Picatrix (1962), a Dr. Heinrich Reich book + overlay, & Dr. Musallam's Horoskopium (volvelle works, and seven planetary badges and a '1' were present in the grey pouch though I haven't figured out the instructions yet)

  10. New arrivals to our Part 3: a German miscellany inc. a prophetic tract from 1926 by C. H. Huter, the prototypical edition (1960s) of Reinhold Ebertin's book 'Einführung in die Kosmobiologie', an Ebertin Verlag 'MC-Scheibe', and a really obscure anonymous book!

  14. Inspired by 's presentation of a Japanese translation of the Picatrix, I've ordered from a private seller the German edition of 1962 - about 12 years after acquiring the Latin edition of 1986 and 4 years after the Arabic edition of 1933 - for our .

  15. Sad to learn that the lead singer of Swedish band Roxette, Marie Frediksson, has passed away after a long battle with cancer. Although their more raucous songs were not to my personal taste, they had sweeter, subtler moments too, as on this 1992 hit.

  16. Have ordered Aspects Books 2 & 3 by Edward Whitman in his mimeographed 'short, wide books' series - to add to his 7 Books of the Planets, Aspects Vol. I and World Time Differences. Brits learned from these charming relics of post-war publishing austerity in the 1950s!
