Great news and long overdue as plastic is a by product from the petrochemical industry there are viable options that would not effect the packaging industry infact would create growth in the industry and filter down into land management

a plastic tax will not stop plastic getting into our food and it wont stop marine life dying from eating plastic; what we need is a single use plastic ban in the uk and worldwide; and the oceans and seas cleaned up.
